Life hasn’t been easy lately, but I have some very tough times ahead; they’ve actually begun already. So, I have made a self-care list to hopefully ensure I will look after myself during the processes, combat any loneliness that may occur, and can give my support to the people who need it, without drinking myself into a stupor!
Back to the gym for swimming and yoga, doing my physio back exercises, getting out to coffee shops to do some of my editing and writing, relaxing with films and documentaries, seeing friends, gardening and more. I’ve started some of them already and decided to post this so that it encourages me to keep it up; no sympathy please.
We must always look after ourselves in order to be able to look after others. x
