My 3 star book review of ‘The woman who went to bed for a year’ by Sue Townsend

I really enjoyed the beginnings of this story; it had me laughing out loud many a time; I was hooked on the characters. Then I tired of the twins and eventually tired of some of the other characters, including Eva (the woman in bed). I would have preferred less detail about the few people involved and more events.

Having read Adrian Mole: The Prostrate years’ I had high expectations, as that was a super book.

I do not regret reading it though, it was still enjoyable 🙂
